The last examination under the Phase-In Rules will be administered Dec. 30, 2013 – Jan. 31, 2014 at Prometric Test Centers worldwide. After this exam, Permanent Rules to qualify will take effect. Under the Permanent Rules, credit is no longer given for Experience in Active Clinical Practice, and credit for accredited residency, FAAO, FCOVD and graduate degrees becomes time-limited. Candidates who have not yet registered for the exam but wish to take it should contact the ABO immediately.
